Parent/Teacher interviews.

Thanks to everyone I met with over the past few weeks. The interviews have concluded for this term and I found the process valuable as an exchange of information on your child.
Some of this information forms the focus we will take in working with your child over the next term.
I often find it interesting in these exchanges on the wonderful syncronicity with children and their parents; with parents often commenting on some of the traits observed pertaining to a particular partent or grandparent, this obviously goes beyond pure genetics. I find this information helps considerably as we work together to plan for your children.

If any of you have some input into the parent/teacher process let me know so that they can be better utilised, sometimes I am just not sure what information to share.
Thank you all again.

And thanks for the many well wishes I will be taking with me for my holidays ahead.

Maps

Children have started drawing maps. This has come about because of my talking about my trip and wanting to get a map of where I'm going.

Friendships

Have you noticed your child is suddenly talking about new children????
I have really noticed just lately that there are many new friendships and play mates forming. It's exciting to see as their confidence is obviously growing and with this comes the ability to form new friends and venture beyond the familiar and safe.

As many of you are aware I have begun Parent/Teacher interviews, trying to get many done before i head off to London and Turkey on the 22nd May, those of you I don't get to see before I go I will make sure I make times available at the commencement of term 3.

I will advise you in more detail of my relief whislt I'm away, her name is Prue. Prue went to Uni with Allison, in the long day room, and has been living in Japan for a few years now, she returns a few days before I head off.

Well as you can imagine I'm getting pretty excited about my trip and will keep you all updated.
